As a Group Manager AML & Screening Investigations, you will lead the operational execution of AML & Screening, ensuring high operational standards and fostering a culture of continuous development and excellence. You will oversee and empower Team Leads, optimize capacity allocation, and develop training strategies. You will also develop strategies for risk mitigation, process optimization, and quality improvements. This role involves monitoring performance metrics, ensuring effective forecasting and capacity planning, leading local engagement initiatives, and ensuring alignment with global operational efforts. The role involves strategic thinking, product collaboration, and driving team performance.

As a Group Manager AML&Screening Investigations, you will play a key role in leading the operational execution of AML & Screening, ensuring meeting our high operational standards, leading local engagement initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous development and excellence. You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing, empowering and facilitating growth for Team Leads and their teams within Spain;
  • Focusing on optimising capacity allocation;
  • Developing and executing training strategies over the different teams to build industry-specific expertise;
  • Strategic alignment and implementation towards the department objectives. 

While Team Leads focus on day-to-day operations and workflow management, you will take a strategic, region-wide view, shaping the overall strategy for the AML and Screening industries and geographies under your scope, driving leadership development, and ensuring alignment and achievement with global department goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with product teams to shape the evolution of our Screening solution, tools and processes. Reporting to the Global Head of AML and Screening, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our department.

What you’ll do: 

  • Maximize the utilization of capacity across regional investigation teams to meet operational needs. 
  • Monitor and report operational performance metrics for the region, implement actionable improvements when needed. 
  • Oversee the AML sub-set of industries within your region, developing strategies for risk mitigation, process optimisation, quality improvements
  • Identify training needs across the different teams and facilitate knowledge development.
  • Develop, mentor and coach Team Leads within the region to promote continuous development. 
  • Ensure effective forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Lead the ideation and execution of OKRs, aligning them with organizational objectives.
  • Drive local engagement initiatives. 
  • Ensure alignment with global operational efforts. 

Who you are:

  • Proven experience managing managers or leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong expertise in AML, Compliance, or Screening operations, with a focus on capacity management and process optimization.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Hands-on experience in product collaboration and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of driving engagement and team performance.
