We have an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering team in Poland and are currently looking for a Head of Engineering to join the team. 

As a Head of Engineering at VGW, you’ll provide technical and people leadership, driving high-quality solutions with robust engineering practices. In this role, you’ll oversee large-scale projects for a key product, aligning technical strategy with business goals and shaping the broader engineering direction while empowering your team to deliver exceptional results.

Our tech stack includes Kotlin/Java, Typescript, React, AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform.

What you will bring to the role:

• Strong technical background with deep expertise in system design and architecture (we’re flexible on the programming languages you’ve worked with).
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects, ensuring successful delivery from planning through to execution.
• The ability to streamline technical decisions and align technical strategy with business objectives, balancing both technical and commercial mindsets.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a diverse and cohesive environment that maximises collective skills and talents while motivating members to achieve organisational goals
