The analyst will work on various transactions for leading corporations and financial firms, developing skills through mentoring and development opportunities. Must have:

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Private Equity and M&A Services team at Marsh Pacific. This entry-level role will be based in Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are currently looking for an Insurance Analyst to join the Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) team within our Global Specialties division. The well-established PEMA team will provide you with an opportunity to learn and grow within the insurance industry, done through our fantastic level of mentoring and development opportunities. You can count on quickly gaining experience on vast range of transactions for Australia and New Zealand’s leading corporations and financial firms.  

This motivated and highly professional team are looking for an individual who is committed to excellence in their work and with a passion for learning the industry. If successful you will assist across all aspects of client service including client contact and development, administration, and technical support.

We will count on you to:

  • Draft new business proposals, engagement documentation, and due diligence reports while coordinating services provided by other practices within Marsh.
  • Support the growth of the PEMA function within the Australia and New Zealand market.
  • Provide risk management advice to buyers and sellers.
  • Maintain a contact database for private equity clients to develop and nurture relationships with PEMA target clients and prospects, aiming to leverage these into future business opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal Marsh practice groups to implement insurance placements and contribute to various due diligence projects, including client reporting.
  • Ensure databases are maintained for income and project tracking purposes.

What you need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or Communications
  • Strong data analysis, general and specific document research, report writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to expert level competency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) is essential.
