Job Summary
Job Description
This internship in Quality Assurance at Garena focuses on ensuring the quality of authentication and payment services. The intern will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from understanding business needs and designing test plans to executing tests, tracking bugs, and contributing to product delivery and maintenance. Responsibilities include designing and implementing manual test cases, performing various types of testing (black/gray-box, automation, load, regression), and collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to identify and report issues. The role requires proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Golang), familiarity with mobile OS and testing frameworks (Selenium, Appium), and a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Must have:
- Perform QA on authentication and payment services
- Full SDLC involvement
- Design and implement manual test cases
- Proficient in Python, Java, or Golang

- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Good to have:

Job Description
- Perform quality assurance on Garena’s authentication and payment related services.
- Engaged in the full software development lifecycle from business requirement analysis, test planning, test cases design, test execution, bug tracking to product delivery and maintenance.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, UI designers and SREs to inspect and report issues about design, optimization, and implementation of our products.
- Develop and execute various types of testing, including black/gray-box testing, automation testing, load testing, regression testing on various platforms.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate in computer science, computer engineering or related fields
- Ability to design and implement manual testing cases
- Proficient in one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, Golang
- Good knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms
- Familiar with mobile operating system such as iOS and Android
- Familiar with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium and Appium
