This internship at Philips within the People & Technology Solutions team focuses on project management, communication, and administrative initiatives related to HR systems like Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone on Demand, and ADP. The intern will support and/or lead small projects, implement project plans, report on progress, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. They will work with a global team of HR experts and IT business analysts, gaining practical experience in a multinational setting. The role offers an opportunity to understand global People systems and processes within a modern operating model.

  • Studying towards a Bachelor or Master's Degree in HR or related.
  • Strong Excel/Data analytics skills and (academic) experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive learner and fluent in English.

Location: Eindhoven/Amsterdam
Contract: 32-40 hours/week

Hybrid: 3x in office

Within the People & Technology Solutions team we are looking for a talented student that will be part of several People projects, focused on project management, communication and administrative initiatives. The initiatives are in the core of People systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone on Demand and ADP and are connected strongly to the global HR People Strategy and processes. This is the ideal position to get deep understanding of global People systems and get practical experience within a multinational environment.

Your role:

  • Supporting and/or leading small projects with the assistance of Global subject matter experts

  • Implementation and realization according to the project plan (time, quality, resources) 

  • Reporting on the progress of the project(s) with an agreed frequency on quality, status, and time to senior stakeholders  

  • Effectively prioritizing, executing and communicating tasks in a fast paced environment by working proactively 

  • You will be part of a global team of People (HR) subject matter experts and IT business analysts working within People (HR) systems and supporting 77 countries. All the colleagues work on various projects and are responsible for maintaining the People (HR) systems infrastructure of Philips.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are studying towards your Bachelor or Master Degree in: Human Resources, Business Administration, or Data related sciences

  • You have strong Excel/Data analytics skills and (academical) experience

  • You have strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • You are a proactive learner and you are fluent in English

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.

  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.

  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net

  • Paid holidays per internship term.

  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop

IMPORTANT:

Part of our selection procedure is a HireVue online assessment. We are not able to share the outcome of this HireVue assessment, but will use this as extra selection criteria.

In order to be considered, you have to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation will be requested. Students from outside the EU enrolled at a Dutch university need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement – which needs to be signed by the student and the university.

Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
