Job Description

The IT&AMS Specialist will be responsible for providing IT services to SimCorp Sofia clients and internal systems. This includes supporting application management, SaaS environments, and scheduler monitoring, as well as technical analysis, pre-sales activities, client installations, migrations, and upgrades. The role also involves supporting VPN and client connectivity, setting up and maintaining test environments, delivering business support services including reporting and Microsoft Power BI solutions. In addition, the specialist will manage SimCorp Italiana’s IT systems, including domain and Active Directory, virtual infrastructure (on-prem and Azure), and virtual machines. They will oversee hardware and software assets, ensure network storage, backups, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies, administer network services, handle IT supplier relationships, and provide internal IT support.
Must have:
  • Knowledge of hardware, TCP/IP, Windows Server, and Active Directory
  • Proficiency in English language skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience with SimCorp Sofia administration and MS Azure
Good to have:
  • Experience with Citrix, networking, MS Office administration, and scripting (VBS, PowerShell).

At SimCorp Italiana, our Information Technology and Application Managed Services team is the driving force behind everything we do. We’re not just keeping the lights on—we’re building, securing, and optimizing the systems that power our success.

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality IT services to our SimCorp Sofia clients, both internally and externally. From ensuring rock-solid system stability to safeguarding our infrastructure and streamlining operations, your work will enhance our daily functionality.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

At SimCorp Italiana, your role will be diverse and wide-ranging. You’ll be part of a team that ensures our clients and internal systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

Client Services & Application Support:

  • Be the go-to expert for SimCorp Sofia clients, providing reliable support across application management, SaaS environments, and scheduler monitoring.
  • Dive into technical analysis for new clients and projects, and contribute to pre-sales activities with your insights.
  • Facilitate client installations, migrations, and upgrades, promoting seamless transitions.
  • Support VPN and client connectivity, and assist with SimCorp Sofia Business Services.
  • Collaborate with development and consulting teams to set up and maintain test environments.
  • Deliver business support services, including reporting and Microsoft Power BI solutions.

IT Infrastructure & Internal Systems:

  • Take charge of SimCorp Italiana’s IT systems, including domain and Active Directory, virtual infrastructure (on-prem and Azure), and virtual machines.
  • Manage key services like WSUS, Citrix, antivirus, and productivity tools like Microsoft Office.
  • Oversee hardware and software assets—from servers and PCs to printers, phones, and more.
  • Ensure robust network storage, backups, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Administer network services such as DHCP/DNS, switches, VLANs, and Wi-Fi.
  • Handle IT supplier relationships, including vendor selection, contract management, and performance oversight.
  • Provide internal IT support, helping colleagues resolve hardware and software issues quickly and effectively.

  • Extensive knowledge of hardware, TCP/IP, Windows Server, Active Directory, and client-server architecture.
