Job Summary

Job Description

As a Key Account Executive (KAE) on the Gaming team at Google Cloud, you'll be responsible for selling to strategic enterprise clients. You'll leverage existing and develop new C-level relationships, understanding customer challenges and promoting Google solutions. This requires deep industry knowledge, communicating the business value of Google's offerings and driving shareholder value. Responsibilities include building executive relationships, leading business cycles (including negotiations), managing account strategy for business growth, managing complex global accounts, and serving as the primary customer contact for adoption activities.
Must have:
  • 10+ years quota-carrying cloud/software sales experience
  • Enterprise account selling experience at C-level
  • Gaming industry experience
  • Lead entire business cycles and negotiations
  • Manage account strategy & cross-functional teams
Good to have:
  • Experience selling cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or application software in the gaming industry
  • Experience supporting large enterprise organizations, growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale
  • Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations
  • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations
  • Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience selling to enterprise accounts, selling a portfolio of products or solutions at the C-level.
  • Experience in, or supporting, the gaming industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software in the gaming industry, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise organizations, growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.
  • Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.
  • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.
  • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.

As a Key Account Executive (KAE) on the Gaming team, you will serve as the senior executive selling to the most strategic enterprises in Google Cloud. You will leverage existing relationships with Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and C-level executives, developing new relationships with business unit leaders to understand their unique company challenges and to influence their perspective of Google solutions. You will do this with a deep industry understanding, communicating the business value of Google while driving shareholder value. In this role, you will advocate the innovative power of our products and solutions to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen executive relationships with strategic customer base to influence their long-term technology and business decisions. Add value as a trusted advisor by bringing compelling insights and ideas with follow through execution.
  • Lead entire business cycles (i.e., presenting multi-year agreements to C-level executives), negotiating terms and managing associated legal and business risks.
  • Manage account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to maximize business impact within enterprise customers.
  • Run and manage complex global accounts with multiple opportunities across different functions with forecast and budgetary accuracy, serving as the primary customer contact for all adoption related activities.
