Job Description

The Liquidity Control Manager will be responsible for managing and controlling company liquidity. Responsibilities include managing daily balances, controlling significant payments, ensuring company funding, determining legal entities for payments, monitoring bank turnover, analyzing banking fees, and planning both short-term and long-term liquidity. They will collaborate with various teams, including crypto, finance, and payment teams, and communicate with banking partners. The role requires a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, along with the ability to work in an international environment. The role involves optimizing processes, preparing reports, and making recommendations for cost reduction. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance.
  • Higher education in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency (written and oral).
  • Native-level Russian proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with 1C and Xero or similar software.
  • Problem solving and big picture thinking.
Good to have:
  • Crypto experience is a plus.

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Liquidity Control Manager. We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Key responsibilities:

1. Organization of collection and control of daily balances: 

  • Working with the Daily Balances report based on 1C: monitoring its accuracy, initiating improvements if needed, and optimizing the process.
  • Coordinating the crypto team to collect balances in crypto.
  • Visualizing the report in Tableau/1C Analytics.

2. Control of significant and large payments:

  • Coordinating request initiators, finance and payment teams regarding amounts, deadlines, documentation, and payment routing.
  • Monitoring payment execution.

3. Ensuring company funding:  

  • Identifying and selecting optimal liquidity solutions for companies independently or together with the External Accounting team.
  • Coordinating the payment team.

4. Participation in determining the legal entity for payments from the perspective of possible routing options, available currencies, and liquidity availability. 

5. Monitoring bank turnover and analyzing the efficiency of money flows to ensure optimal allocation and cost management, including coordination with the payment team on payment routing. 

6. Analysis and control of banking fees, comparison of financial terms across banks, and preparation of cost-reduction recommendations. 

7. Liquidity control and planning (short-term/long-term) including:

  • Managing the development of planned and actual cash flow processes, coordinating stakeholders.
  • Calculating and managing free cash (monitoring, analyzing, and reporting current placements // initiating new placements (if possible), including supporting contract processes // analyzing new offers, preparing calculations and recommendations, making placements and overseeing them).

8. Communication and building strong relationships with banking partners.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in finance, accounting, economics.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, accounting or finance (preferably within international companies).
  • English (at least upper-intermediate, both written and oral).
  • Russian – native-level proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with 1C and Xero or similar software.
  • Problem solving, big picture thinking.
  • Confident to work with people at all levels and from different fields.
  • Open to variety and challenge.
  • Crypto experience is a plus.
