This role requires a Middle Automation (Python) QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience in automated testing. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated tests using Python, building and extending a test framework, testing GenAI solutions, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, performing API testing, and collaborating with various teams to define testing requirements and improve overall product quality. The ideal candidate will have strong Python proficiency, experience with Selenium/Playwright/Appium, understanding of testing techniques, CI/CD tool knowledge (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD), API and database knowledge (REST, GraphQL, RAG, vector databases), and practical experience with GenAI technologies (OpenAI API, Llama, Gemini). Experience with pytest, allure, and Robot Framework is also preferred. Proactive problem-solving and strong communication skills are essential.

Job Details
We are looking for an Automation Tester with experience in testing using Python, who is proficient in test automation techniques and has practical experience using GenAI technologies. The main task is to develop and support automated tests for complex systems, including those using generative AI. Beyond technical expertise, we value proactive problem-solvers who can collaborate closely with both technical and business teams to refine testing strategies and improve overall product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated tests
- Build and extend a test framework using Python
- Test GenAI solutions, analyze generation results, and identify issues affecting model quality
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define testing requirements and align on quality expectations
- Actively participate in discussions to improve software testing strategies and enhance automation coverage
- Contribute to the overall testing process by analyzing gaps and suggesting improvements
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in automated testing
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Appium
- Solid understanding of testing techniques (e.g., boundary testing, equivalence partitioning, exploratory testing)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
- Knowledge of API (REST, GraphQL) and database concepts (RAG, vector databases)
- Practical experience with GenAI technologies (e.g., OpenAI API, Llama, Gemini) for testing or quality analysis
- Familiarity with pytest, allure, and Robot Framework
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and translate business needs into actionable test cases
- A proactive mindset, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
It will be a plus:
- Experience testing GenAI applications (LLM, chatbots, AI assistants)
- Understanding of ML model testing methodologies
