Job Description

Luxoft seeks a Senior Murex FO Business Analyst for a Murex upgrade project (v3.1.38 to v3.1.6x) at a leading Indian private bank. Responsibilities include hands-on business analysis, proposing solutions for business issues and process changes, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and working on data reconciliation between systems (Front Office, Risk, Back Office). The role involves identifying root causes of discrepancies, defining tolerances, maintaining a repository of issues, and collaborating with users and stakeholders. Strong Murex experience (especially in FXD, FXO, Bond, IRD, IR Futures & IR Repo), reconciliation expertise, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Must have:

8-10 years Murex BA experience
Murex upgrade project experience
FO, MO, BO reconciliation analysis
Excellent communication & business understanding
Murex front office, trade capture & event mgmt
Reconciliation & validation of PL, MV, Cash & Sensitivities
Strong problem-solving & organizational skills
Treasury product understanding & front office project experience

Good to have:

Murex MxTest experience
Feeders/Extractions execution
Murex configuration experience
Pre-trade, e-tradepad & Simulation views

Project description

Our customer is a leading private bank in India that provides front-to-back integrated treasury solution. Bank is embarking upon first ever Murex upgrade (v3.1.38 to v3.1.6x) since implementation. Luxoft has been chosen as the System Integrator partner for this project and will have key roles across all the streams - Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk, Integration, Reporting, Test Management, Configuration & Environment management. We are looking for experienced & motivated Murex colleagues to join this exciting program and contribute towards the success of this engagement

Responsibilities

Hands-on business analysis role to analyse and propose solutions for business issues, process changes and functional requirements.

Work with different teams and stakeholders to deliver system solutions for the business

Gather requirements from Business stakeholders towards scoping of reconciliation of Data between base and target system (across the Front office, Risk, Back office)

Identify the root causes/explanations and mitigation actions for the differences found on the reconciliation outputs.

Work with end users to explain the root causes and performing the mitigation actions

Define the tolerances on the reconciliation differences

Maintain & Update repository of root causes of difference and support in automating the reconciliation execution & explanation

Perform execution of Reconciliation as per the project requirement & iterations

Build a strong relationship and manage expectations with users and stake holders.

Collaborate with stakeholders on their priorities, needs as well as system improvements.

Skills

Must have

10 years of experience working with MUREX as Business Analyst

Experience in working on a Murex Upgrade project as FO BA

Exposure to working on analysis of Recon differences for FO, MO & BO area (at least 1-2 areas required)

Excellent communication and very good business understanding of front office/back office

especially FXD, FXO, Bond, IRD, IR Futures & IR Repo

Working knowledge in Murex

front office simulation, trade capture and event management,

Exposure to Murex e-trade pad, instruments, generators, P&L, Market Value, Sensitivities & simulation knowledge

Experience in Reconciliation & validation of PL, MV, Cash & Sensitivity numbers for Murex upgrade projects

Strong team player with excellent communication & inter-personal skills.

Strong problem solver who can question and understand proposed solutions and business drivers.

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Strong understanding of treasury products and experience in front office projects.

Nice to have

Murex MxTest experience, Executing Feeders/Extractions, Murex configuration experience

Pre-trade, e-tradepad & Simulation views
