This role is a New Business Sales Account Executive position within Google Customer Solutions, requiring fluency in English and Italian. The successful candidate will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and building a robust pipeline of new business to closing deals and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities include identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working with internal teams (Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency, and Marketing), and consulting with clients to achieve online marketing and business goals using Google's marketing solutions (YouTube, Google Search, Shopping, Display Network, App Promotion). The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, influencing, and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of the online advertising industry and local market dynamics.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in new business sales and exceeding quota attainment.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building a pipeline from scratch through strategic and tactical focus and execution.
  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement and creative strategy.
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and knowledge of the local market with insights in both digital and traditional media.
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business cycle as a sales professional for the new business acquisition from early stages to closing the customers and managing the relationship after closure to ensure the customer satisfaction, performance, and promotion opportunities.
  • Prospect and build a robust pipeline of new business by identifying and initiating relationships with new clients, working in close partnership with our Sales Development, Onboarding, Agency and Marketing teams.
  • Acquire business agreements through outbound prospecting, cold calling, consulting, educating, pitching, closing, and relationship management.
  • Consult with clients to achieve domestic and export online marketing and business goals, utilizing the full suite of Google’s marketing solutions (e.g., YouTube, Google Search and Shopping, Google Display Network, App Promotion).
