As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Create solution and configure Qatar payroll system to client needs.
Design, configure and maintain all SAP Qatar payroll components including wage types, benefits integration, deductions, limit on deductions, off-cycle activity, accumulations, date and period modifiers, off-cycle activity, third-party remittance, posting to accounting, accruals, tax structure and reporting. Review, analyse and test impact of Qatar payroll related changes included in support packages.
Should have in depth understanding of EC data models. Enable and configure Qatar payroll features. Should understand EC workflows, complex business rules in Employee central and Time management that are related to Employee Central Payroll. Provide expertise in configuring Employee Central in terms of global business requirements! Understand country specific localizations of Various Data models and MDFs. Picklists management, User access through role-based permissions, Organization, Pay & Job Structures Management, Country Specific Fields (CSF) customization, Self Service (MSS ESS) Transactions Configuration, EC Position Management and handle Translations. Configure and maintain all wage types and determine taxation rules, FI mapping, infotype association and permissibility rules. Configure and support Payroll Control Center for both regular and off-cycle processing including creating and editing validations as needed. Create generic payroll functions/operations that can be used generally as needed. Perform basic Employee Central provisioning settings in support of Employee Central Payroll. Configure mapping of Employee Central Payroll fields and wage types originating from various Employee Central instances. Configure posting integration for on-premises or third party financial systems. Design and configure check forms to meet client requirements. Should be able to assist the team with his/her technical skills whenever an issue is encountered.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with various cross-functional IT and business teams. Should have the ability to understand integration strategies, integration of HR with other functions, write functional specifications, identify test scenarios, and document the results. Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and adhere to data protection and privacy policies.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience of SAP HR processes across one or more areas below:
- Qatar Payroll
- Core HR Organizational Management, Personnel Administration
- Employee Central Payroll
- Replication / Data migration
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of Payroll experience with 7 years in Middle East Payroll implementation.
- Must have experience in writing custom Personnel Calculation Rules (PCR)/Schema
- Must have following certifications including stay current content and assessments:
- SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP SuccessFactors for Employee Central Payroll
- Awareness in Transport Management System
- Awareness in Authorizations
- Awareness of Quality Processes
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
- Experience with SAP tools (e.g., LSMW, BDC, ABAP Debugging)
- Cloud Platform Integration
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Visio skills
