Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement & manage our AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing services such as EKS, ECR, Step Functions, Lambda, S3 and CloudFront.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform, GitHub, Actions, and GitHub Workflows to streamline the deployment process.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and orchestrate the deployment of containerized applications.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Grafana and Loki to ensure health and performance of our systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our infrastructure and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience working in a DevOps or similar role.
• Proficiency in managing AWS services such as EKS, ECR, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, and CloudFront.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Understanding of networking principles and experience with configuring and troubleshooting network components in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code principles and experience with Terraform.
• Skilled in shell/python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Loki.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication & collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Proficiency in setting up and managing, monitoring and alerting systems beyond Grafana and Loki, such as Prometheus, Nagios, or Datadog.
• Knowledge of database administration principles and experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases in cloud environments.
