Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Engineer for its Performance Test Engineer Specialist position, with focus on performance engineering, design, and architecting, to join the Bangalore technology center in India. As a Performance Test Engineer Specialist, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical systems of varying sizes to new and existing customers and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry.

We are now looking for a Performance Test Engineer Specialist to strengthen the technology team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for driving the execution of central initiatives across the Nasdaq Investors Relation Technology portfolio of Software Products.

Join the development organization for Nasdaq IR Insight. The main objective for the development team in Bangalore is to build state of the art Corporate Access Platform’s solution software for IR Officers and its office. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for end-to-end Design, Develop and Enhance enterprise product to new software paradigms.

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an expert performance test engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting, developing and executing performance test to ensure our applications meet the required performance, scalability and reliability standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing, performance testing tools and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Design, develop, and execute performance tests to measure application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or NeoLoad
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance testing requirements and develop test plans
  • Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools to support automated testing
  • Work with development teams to identify and resolve performance-related issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation of performance testing processes and results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in performance testing.

We expect you to have :

  • 6-8 years of in performance testing, with a focus on web applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, NeoLoad, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Groovy
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret performance test results and identify areas for improvement
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS or Azure is a plus

It would be great if you

  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or Splunk
  • Certification in performance testing or a related field.
