The Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) India team is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager who is energized by direct stakeholder/SLT interactions, delivering technical content, and driving product success. The team consists of highly motivated, innovative, security-minded software engineers, data scientists/data engineers and security leaders responsible for responding to security issues across Microsoft products, including the Azure platform.   

As a Senior Product Manager on the team, your leadership will be critical in ensuring engineering, data science, and security program management rigor alongside driving security innovation. You must be passionate about building secure services and will also have opportunities to nurture new ideas for additional business outcomes and deliver high quality of service. You will be collaborating and influencing other engineers/data scientists/security program managers on the team and across groups, create and maintain positive and productive working relationships.  

Our team enables MSRC to interact with external security researchers, security industry partners, and Microsoft customers working to secure their systems. The team works in an agile, start-up-like environment where each team member is empowered to think creatively, contribute, and collaborate towards the mission of MSRC in a fast-paced, sprint-driven rhythm.

• 10+ years of experience in a technical role across Security portfolio; ability to go deep in select security technical/solution areas with drive and a growth mindset. 

• Clear and effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and spoken communication for both internal and external audiences, and the ability to adapt to your audience (including senior executives). 

• Experience working with multiple stakeholders leading highly visible initiatives/products/projects at scale. 

• A strategic mindset and vision to anticipate future demands and competitive needs. 
  The ability to partner closely with both internal and external managed customers. 

• Positive and collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to work on cross-team projects. 

• The ability to adapt fast to changes and move from one project to the other. 

• Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities/mitigations 

• Engage with a team of software engineers, data scientists, and security program managers, to design and implement Azure-based and on-premises services and data science/BI solutions that power MSRC’s engineering system.  

• Collaborate with stakeholders in peer teams and organizations to deliver production-grade solutions for security challenges that scale and work across multiple products while meeting standards of service quality, availability, scale and performance.  

• Influence and align product vision by collaborating with customers, partners, product management and engineering teams.  

• Drive engineering roadmaps, leading teams, mentoring, and helping others grow.  

• Bring clarity, create energy, and drive results.
