Job Description
This Product Solutions Engineer role focuses on providing technical support and consulting to Google Ads customers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, developing solutions, and communicating with diverse audiences (engineers to executives). You will leverage AI-powered Ads products and platforms to identify root causes, create troubleshooting tools, and improve product offerings by providing feedback to internal teams (Product Management, Engineering, Business Solutions). The role also involves partnering with business and cross-functional teams to enhance client experience. Strong problem-solving skills, experience in system design or programming, and technical troubleshooting are crucial. Experience in technical product support, cloud support, or quality engineering is preferred. The role requires translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and conducting business analysis.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years system design or programming experience
- 3+ years troubleshooting and partner management experience
- Technical consulting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
- Master's degree in related field
- Experience with Google Ads or online advertising
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Business analysis and dashboard development skills
- Experience with cloud support or quality engineering

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in system design or in one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
- 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
- Experience with working in technical product support, cloud support, quality engineering, or site reliability engineering.
- Experience with Google Ads or other online advertising solutions and the media landscape.
- Experience in a customer-facing role with translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Experience in business analysis to conduct analytics, develop dashboards, and make recommendations.
- Ability to work in any environment to solve problems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Prioritize and deliver quality customer service throughout the customer journey, troubleshoot and resolve issues with Google's advertisers and Business teams, agencies and partners.
- Learn AI powered Ads products and Ads Platforms.
- Troubleshoot technical product issues and apply product expertise to solve technical customer issues and escalations.
- Develop tools and automation for better diagnostics/data fixes and debugging with Product Engineering teams.
- Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering and Business Solutions teams. Partner with our Business and other cross-functional partners to own and improve the journey of all clients.
