The Associate Production Coordinator will join the Animation team at Rockstar India to assist in the production of AAA video game titles. This full-time, on-site position involves coordinating animation features and deliverables, tracking progress, identifying and resolving production issues, and creating documentation. The role requires communication with development teams, planning deadlines, using project tracking tools, and ensuring key dates are understood. The candidate will also conduct meetings, take notes, and contribute to a positive working environment. The candidate should have experience in Film or Games.
Must have:
  • Degree in production or related field.
  • 2+ years of Production experience in Film or Games.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven written & verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • An aptitude for working in a deadline-focused team environment.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and adaptable.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new workflows and software tools.
  • Experience managing web content. e.g., wikis, dashboards.
  • Data management skills.
  • Ability to present information in clear and concise ways.
Good to have:
  • Thorough understanding and passion for Rockstar Games.
  • Enthusiasm for learning the processes and procedures of game development and animation.
  • Experience with Project Management Software.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for video games.

Rockstar India is on the lookout for an Associate Production Coordinator to join our Animation team and assist in making some of the most highly respected and widely recognized AAA titles in video games.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Rockstar’s large game development studio in Bangalore, India. 

WHAT WE DO

  • The Animation production team is responsible for the coordination of features and deliverables for animation across our global teams.
  • The Animation teams create gameplay mechanics, cinematics, and ambient content that are used to make immersive experiences.
  • We collaborate with animators, leads and directors to schedule, track, and complete team goals.
  • We help identify potential issues, doing what we can to resolve them before they impact on our development teams.
  • We help build a diverse, inclusive, engaged, and fun working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicating with development teams and gathering information required for Animation deliverables.
  • Planning and helping to execute the team’s priorities, deadlines, and features.
  • Using our internal project tracking tools to track deliverables for Animation.
  • Ensure key dates are understood by the team and communicated to others.
  • Collaboratively identify production issues and work to develop solutions with fellow team members.
  • Conduct meetings and take detailed notes to provide for related parties.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation relevant to Animation.
  • Willingness to offset hours on occasion to connect with international teammates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in production, project management, or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years of Production experience in Film or Games.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven written & verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • An aptitude for working in a deadline-focused team environment.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and adaptable.
