Program Manager

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for Design Program Management for Transmission Transceivers new PIP development products, starting from PIP1 development and for coordination the product through to mass production handover
• Secondary responsibilities for supporting Jira and SharePoint for the full organization
  • Creating and maintaining Jira projects, issue types and automation
  • Support with creating SharePoint Project sub-sites
• Short term responsibility for enhancing router test scripts to support near term testing of modules in different routers

Education & Experience

• No Minimum post graduation experience needed - Available for new graduate
• BS/MS/MBA or equivalent degree.

Skills

• Project Management knowledge and some level of experience needed
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Project experience strongly recommended
• Strong Jira knowledge and experience is a major advantage
• Ability to modify test scripts is desired
• Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. required

Working Conditions

• This position is onsite
• May require occasional off-site meetings or travel
• Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
• Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
• May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive’s needs

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
• Use of hands and fingers for operating computers and lab equipment.
• Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative or lab tasks.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Mobility within the office/lab environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
