Job Description

As a Program Manager II, NPI, Technical Infrastructure at Google, you'll drive material and supply chain readiness for new product introductions (NPI) from concept to production. You will work with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and mitigate supply chain risks. Responsibilities include liaising with ODMs, CMs, and suppliers, developing global supply chain maps, updating project schedules, and representing the NPI Supply Chain organization in internal meetings. The role requires experience in hardware NPI, supply/demand planning, and managing cross-functional projects. You will ensure materials readiness, long-term supply continuity, and efficient product launches into global data centers.

  • Hardware NPI experience (PCBA, etc.)

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience driving New Product Introduction (NPI) for hardware programs or electrical manufacturing builds (e.g., PCBA, accelerators, equipment, racks, switches, optics).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in supply/demand planning.
  • Experience with hardware bill of materials (BOMs), process documentation, and assembly and test processes.
  • Experience driving and qualifying hardware or machine learning equipment through data centers.

As a Supply Chain Program Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams starting with product inception to volume ramp to bring innovative products into global data centers efficiently. In this role, you're responsible for developing and executing materials plans, enabling prototype builds, and driving production ramp plans for products deployed in our data centers. You will work with Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Supply and Demand Planning, Contract Manufacturing and Supplier partners to launch new products and to implement processes and systems that scale new product deployments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive material and supply chain readiness for all NPI builds from concept phase to production handoff, partnering with cross-­functional teams to ensure success.
  • ­Identify and communicate supply chain risks and mitigation plans to ensure materials readiness for NPI builds, as well as enabling long term supply continuity into production.
  • Liaison with ODM/CM/Suppliers, manage spend against project budgets, and drive production risk buys and strategic buffers.
  • ­Develop and document global supply chain map for each product, including suppliers, procurement model, lead time, shipment logistics, assembly/test/fulfillment model, and spares strategies.
  • ­Update project schedules, communicate status, risks and influence change, and represent the New Product Introduction Supply Chain organization in internal program meetings, driving initiatives and process improvements to help the team grow in scalability.
