Role Description: We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager 3 to lead a $20+ million modernization project. This role demands extensive expertise in project management, vendor coordination, and change management within complex enterprise IT environments. Proficiency in Microsoft DevOps and Agile methodologies is essential for success in this position.
You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and coordinate project work teams.
- Follow standard project management practices such as PMI's framework.
- Collaborate closely with project sponsors to meet business and technical objectives.
- Develop project charters, work plans, and track budgets and schedules using appropriate metrics.
- Establish project organization, define roles, and assign responsibilities.
- Identify risks, create mitigation plans, and manage project scope.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans.
- Build effective teams, assign tasks, and evaluate outcomes.
- Negotiate resources and address stakeholder needs.
- Track and resolve project issues while eliminating barriers.
- Provide technical support for project members as required.
- Manage a group of application system analysts and handle complex technical designs.
- Ensure project deliverables align with performance, revenue, and profit objectives.
- Monitor, report, and present project status in regular steering meetings.
Desired Experience
- 5+ years of experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $20 million.
- 5+ years of Agile leadership experience (must be documented in the resume).
- Recent 5 years of experience managing IT projects in complex enterprise-governed ecosystems.
- Documented experience managing IT projects in large organizations.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft DevOps.
- Program management expertise, including coordination with other project managers for system integration.
You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
