The Publisher Partnerships Director will lead the publisher sales team on a 6-month maternity cover contract, with the potential to transition to a full-time individual contributor role. The primary responsibility is to drive iion’s publisher sales efforts, focusing on growing the base of Web and CTV publishers. The role involves managing a team of publisher sales managers, implementing sales strategies, driving sales to key accounts, collaborating with marketing, and tracking sales KPIs. The position is remote, with some travel, and reports to a Co-Founder. The ideal candidate will identify and onboard new publishers, fine-tune sales strategies, manage a global team, and foster relationships with key accounts.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of sales experience with game publishers
  • In-depth understanding of programmatic and CTV ecosystems
  • Experience managing a global team of publisher sales people
  • Strong connections with top-tier gaming Web & CTV publishers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

About The Role
To continue building iion’s position as a global game advertising player we are looking for someone to temporarily spearhead the publisher sales team. This is a 6-month maternity cover contract, however with an option to continue full time as an individual contributor. In this role you will be responsible for iion’s publisher sales efforts and the management of a small team of publisher sales managers. Your specific focus will be on growing the base of Web and CTV publishers. The role reports into one of our Co-Founders and is a remote role with some travel involved.

The position is primarily open to candidates who reside in the US time zone. Feel free to apply from other locations, if you are a perfect match.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Drive business growth by identifying and onboarding new publishers across Prebid, TAM, SDK, oRTB and GAM integrations with a specific focus on web and CTV publishers
  • Fine tune and implement sales strategies across various regions and market segments to further accelerate publisher growth
  • Oversee and support a global team of publisher sales managers to stay aligned with the predefined strategy and OKRs
  • Drive sales to key accounts through existing relationships and new leads
  • Work closely with marketing to implement an ABM strategy, develop sales materials and identify marketing opportunities
  • Forecast, track and measure sales KPIs using CRM and reporting
  • Attend industry events, webinars and roadshows to strengthen partnerships and maintain your industry knowledge

Role Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with selling to game publishers
  • An in-depth understanding of the programmatic and CTV ecosystems
  • Previous experience managing a global team of publisher sales people
  • Strong existing connections with top-tier gaming Web & CTV publishers
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset mixed with an outgoing personality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong spelling and grammar.
