Job Description

As a Regional Product Lead (RPL) for APAC GCS SBS Engage, Commerce, you will activate Google Ads product solutions, enabling sellers to meet product adoption goals, lead go-to-market strategy, and work with cross-functional teams to meet regional goals. You'll work with Global Product Lead (GPL) teams to advocate for Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Commerce customer needs, shaping product and go-to-market strategy globally. Responsibilities include driving AI solution adoption, educating sellers, partnering with global teams to develop go-to-market plans, understanding customer objectives, representing APAC feedback to global product leads, and collaborating with Sales Managers to integrate AI solutions into regional sales strategies. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Must have:
  • 4+ years in product management/related fields
  • Experience with Sales, Product, Engineering teams
  • Developing business strategies/managing initiatives
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Drive AI solution adoption and seller enablement
Good to have:
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of product pitching and GCS organization
  • Experience with spreadsheets, SQL, dashboard building

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology.
  • Experience working with Sales, Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in project management along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of product and pitching performance solutions across a sales organization or understanding of the GCS organisation and how to activate sellers on product solutions.
  • Ability to take complex topics and simplify to different audiences from senior level executives to managers, sellers via one-on-one/one-to-many format.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English to interact with the business stakeholders. Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving, with the ability to work on complex operational initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical skills (e.g., Spreadsheets, SQL, Dashboard building).

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption and enable business Success on AI Solutions across APAC SBS-Engage Commerce business. Educate SBS-E Commerce sellers on AI Solutions and benefits through training, workshops and partnership with sales leadership.
  • Partner with global Product and Sales Activation, Regional Sales Strategy and Operations, Marketing, Finance and gTech to develop new opportunities and drive go-to-market plans aligning seller/customer needs to business goals.
  • Understand customer goals and marketing objectives to develop successful product GTM strategies to drive successful customer outcomes.
  • Represent APAC by sharing structured customer/seller feedback with Global Product Leads. Ensure the specific needs/nuances of sellers/customers are considered and reflected in the global product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers across APAC to integrate AI Solutions into the regional sales strategy. Align go-to-market efforts, resources and support to achieve shared business goals.
