Sales, Client Growth Specialist – HPM (East)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Client Growth Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on driving the expansion and growth of existing contracts for hospital patient monitoring systems. Collaborating with Customer Success teams, District Service Leaders, and the Sales teams, you will identify opportunities to extend, expand, and enhance contracts, including support for XaaS (Anything as a Service), software support, and hardware support. Your primary objective is to ensure the continued success and satisfaction of our clients, while maximizing revenue potential and strengthening long-term partnerships.

Your role:

  • You will focus on growing existing service contracts for hospital patient monitoring systems. Identify opportunities to extend contract terms, add additional services, and expand the scope of support offerings across XaaS, software, and hardware solutions.
  • You will work closely with Customer Success teams, District Service Leaders, and sales teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customer accounts. Leverage their insights to propose tailored solutions that meet evolving client needs.
  • You will build strong, ongoing relationships with key stakeholders at hospital and healthcare institutions. Regularly check in with customers to understand their changing needs and proactively offer solutions to enhance their existing contracts.  You will act as a subject matter expert in patient monitoring systems, offering consultative advice to clients on the full range of available support options, including XaaS, software updates, and hardware services.
  • You will lead efforts to expand capabilities of existing contracts and negotiate extensions, ensuring customers continue to receive the highest level of service and support. Ensure that contracts are extended ahead of expiration dates, mitigating the risk of service disruptions.  You will maximize revenue from existing accounts by identifying and securing new opportunities for contract growth, ensuring long-term value and satisfaction for both the customer and the organization.
  • You will use customer data and insights from Customer Success and Service teams to track contract performance and identify areas for growth. Analyze trends to develop strategies that increase contract value and strengthen customer loyalty.  You will coordinate with internal teams, including customer support, service delivery, and sales leadership, to ensure alignment on contract growth goals and customer engagement strategies. You're the right fit if:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience with Bachelor's OR minimum 1 year of experience with Master's in areas such as sales or account management, with a strong focus on growing and expanding existing contracts, ideally in the healthcare, medical technology, or patient monitoring industry.  You have experience with service contracts, including XaaS, software support, and hardware support, and a deep understanding of recurring revenue models.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and customers at all levels of the organization. You have a collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver value.
  • You have strong negotiation and closing skills, particularly in the context of contract renewals, extensions, and upsells.  You have excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities to tailor solutions based on customer needs and business goals.  You  are self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales growth in existing accounts.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $176,000 to $208,000 annually, plus company fleet/car.  Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance. 

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.

Additional Information

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Eastern US.
