Job Description

Ariens Company is seeking dependable, enthusiastic summer employees to fill full-time, seasonal, entry level production/manufacturing roles in Assembly, Machine Operating, Paint, and Material Handling. The job involves operating machines and tools safely, promoting company values, verifying part correctness, completing paperwork, and interpreting blueprints. The ideal candidate can stand for long periods, use hands for positioning parts, lift up to 35 pounds, work in a team, and is at least 18 years old.
Must have:
  • Safe operation of machine and tools
  • Verify parts are being made correctly
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Operate machine or tool to standard work
  • Interpret Blue prints
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of scheduled shift
  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must complete respirator questionnaire
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Description:

Ariens Company is currently seeking dependable, enthusiastic summer employees to fill full-time, seasonal, entry level production/manufacturing roles. The areas include Assembly, Machine Operating, Paint, and Material Handling and work 40 hours per week, 4:30am – 2:30pm, Monday through Thursday. 

THE DAY TO DAY…

  • Safe operation of machine and tools

  • Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles

  • Verify parts are being made correctly with functional gauges/devices

  • Complete required paperwork (In Process Verification's, production control charts and others as required by work center)

  • Proper operating techniques that do no cause machine damage and/or excessive tool wear

  • Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tasks to standard work

  • Operate machine or tool to standard work

  • Interpret Blue prints to produce parts to print specification

  • Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals

  • Ability to problem solve effectively

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of scheduled shift (10 hours)

  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place

  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies

  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Desire for personal development and growth

  • Must complete respirator questionnaire

  • Must maintain an average work schedule of less than 25 hours per week

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon your start date

  • Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen in order to be considered for summer employment
