As a Senior Aircraft Technician at Wisk, you will be a crucial part of the Flight Test and Operations team, ensuring aircraft are flightworthy through inspections, maintenance, and proper paperwork. You will also step into the Crew Chief role during flights. Responsibilities include participating in flight testing activities, supporting Test and Flight Operations, assisting with troubleshooting, providing technical feedback, leading tasks, and maintaining processes. You will ensure the smooth operation of the flight test facility.
Must have:
- 3+ years hands-on experience in the Aviation Industry.
- Experience working on aircraft, preferably experimental.
- Hold an Airframe and Powerplant license.
- Knowledge of specialized tooling and digital tools.

We are looking for a Sr. Aircraft Technician to join our team. The goal of a Sr. Aircraft Technician at Wisk is to ensure that the flight test facility operates smoothly. You will be part of the Test and Flight Operations Team that safely and efficiently tests aircraft for Wisk.
Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Hollister Flight Test office.
In this role you will be a crucial part of the Wisk Flight Test and Operations team. A team that is built on many years of experience testing and advancing aviation. The Sr. Aircraft Technician role is part of the last line of defense that provides a flightworthy aircraft for Wisk to fly. Through thorough inspections, critical maintenance, and proper paperwork, the rest of the Flight Test team has confidence in the state of the aircraft. Once the aircraft leaves the hangar for operations, the Sr. Aircraft Technician will step into the Crew Chief role, performing flight duties with the rest of the team. Doing their part in performing safe, meaningful test flights of the Wisk aircraft.

Requirements:
- You will have relevant experience in the Aviation Industry. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience is required.
- You have worked on aircraft, preferably in the experimental category.
- You have a minimum of an Airframe and Powerplant license.
- You have a knowledge of complex tools, such as applicable specialized tooling for individual aircraft.
- You have a strong and applied understanding of digital tooling that is used to track information. With the ability to learn new programs Wisk utilizes.
- This role will require less than 10% of travel
$45 - $52 an hour

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $45 - $52 per hour- The starting base rate within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
