The Senior Books Royalty Administrator will provide a crucial service to authors, working directly with them, editorial teams, and the Shared Service Centre. This role involves ensuring seamless support from contract agreements to royalty payments. Key responsibilities include managing royalty processes, handling financial aspects, ensuring accuracy, and addressing complex queries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office. The role requires an ability to manage multiple tasks in an agile manner and navigate difficult situations. Job Description

The role is to provide a critical service to our authors.  The successful individual will be working directly with our authors, editorial and our Shared Service Centre, ensuring a seamless support from the setup of their contract agreements through to royalty payments. Royalties experience and a financial background are essential to the role, as well as the individual been able to work with accuracy and independence.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience with royalty processes or have been in an accounting/financial position showing the ability to ensure, attention to detail, accuracy and work through complex/multiple queries.  They must have excellent communication skills and be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint). In addition, the ideal candidate will need to have experience in working in an agile manner, be successful at managing several tasks at once and have the ability to work through difficult situations. In house training will be provided for the systems used to which you will be required to be a super user.

The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time.
