The company currently executes 45 government contracts (more than half as prime) across three current lines of business – Cyber/Intel, Mission Support, and Integrated Communications. Barbaricum is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer for the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency (NGA ARCHES) Program. The Senior Platform Engineer is a critical role within the NGA ARCHES Program, serving as a technical and functional advisor to the Government AI Model Manager supporting the oversight of overhead imagery computer vision model development, training, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product/Engagement and Platform Engineering divisions to facilitate the validation of customer requirements and incorporate feedback and requested features into the AI development process.
- Assist with the development and management of overall program requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables with integrated teams, partners, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline.
- Requires broad knowledge of AI model development processes, ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
