Job Description

N-iX is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) to contribute to a large European online car marketplace. Responsibilities include maintaining existing services (Java, Scala, TypeScript), building new APIs and web applications (Java, TypeScript), migrating legacy systems, creating online ads for private users, managing appointment systems, and managing user profile services. The ideal candidate will possess 4-5+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot for API and web application development, proficiency in TypeScript/React, experience with cloud hosting (AWS preferred), Docker/containers, and AWS RDS/SQL DB, AWS Lambda, and AWS CloudFront. The role offers a significant impact on a high-traffic platform, shaping the user experience for millions.

Must have:

4-5+ years Java/Spring Boot experience
TypeScript/React proficiency
AWS experience (preferred)
Docker/container experience

Experience with observability tools like Datadog

N-iX is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) to join the team.

Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates, improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript)
Building new APIs and web applications (Java + TypeScript)
Migrating legacy services to new technologies (Java + TypeScript)
Creating and managing online ads for private users (Web)
Managing appointment systems between sellers and buyers (Web)
Running user profile services to store and manage user data

Requirements:

4-5+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot for building APIs and web applications
Proficiency with TypeScript/React for web application development
Experience with hosting in Cloud (preferred AWS)
Experience with Docker/containers
Experience with AWS RDS/SQL DB, AWS Lambda, AWS CloudFront

Nice to Have:

Experience with observability tools like Datadog
