What We Need
We are looking for a motivated Sr. Producer to join the 2K Core Games: Product team. You will support our hard-working studio partners in developing exceptional games, from concept through post-launch. The ideal candidate is an experienced Producer who can help tackle tactical and strategic challenges, provide clear guidance, and ensure strong team alignment for one of our upcoming AAA titles. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a solid understanding of industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple verticals within a AAA title, or be the publishing production lead on a small to medium sized AAA title, providing clear objectives and product insights to publishing and studio leadership.
- Help drive decisions that impact the overall success of the project, balancing evolving constraints against ambitious creative goals.
- Partner with studios to define the project's milestones and key development beats, support delivery and trajectory evaluation.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building positive relationships with other publishing colleagues and the studio while providing critical development insights.
- Skilled at tailoring communication and ensuring clarity across publishing subject matter experts and our studio partners.
- Foster an environment for constructive discourse and seek out opportunities for product innovation.
- Leverage comprehensive product knowledge across all phases of development (Concept, Preproduction, Production, Launch, and Post Launch).
- Coordinate market analysis, understand product features, and review competitive insights to inform decisions.
- Ensure strong player engagement strategies through analysis of player data and feedback.
- Lead quality strategies within verticals, managing trade-offs between quality targets, features, and timelines.
- Participate in aligning project objectives with business strategies and supporting the long-term vision of the organization.
- Be responsible for the project's budget accuracy and complete internal and external coordination.
- Mentor peers and junior production staff.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working with AAA franchises and history of shipping titles in a publishing role.
- Experience as a Sr. Producer, or comparable role in the gaming industry/creative software development fields.
- Exceptional at handling sophisticated datasets, multi-year project timelines, and large development budgets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Detailed knowledge of game development process, production methodologies and toolsets.
- Ability to drive complex issues to resolution and ensure studio and cross-team alignment.
- Ability to manage multiple project areas and align them with overall franchise goals.
- Experience with player research strategies and market-fit analysis.
- Proficiency in quality management tradeoffs.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $114,400 and $153,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
