Scopely is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join our Monopoly Go! team in California on a remote basis.

What You Will Do
Reporting into the Client QA Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the quality efforts of one of MonopolyGo’s closely knitted teams, known as a Pod. You will work with both internal and external teams to support regular feature and / or content releases from conception through to post release care, all the while retaining the utmost levels of quality through the use of a variety of tools and processes.
As a key contributor to the culture of quality within Scopely, you will help craft the future on how we continue to iterate to success, and evolve the way we work.
Ensure your pods contributions to any given release are of the highest quality, both in terms of defect mitigation and usability experience, while also taking a wider and comprehensive interest in the overall quality of said releases
Generate clear and concise test plans within your pod, identifying scope of coverage, accurate estimates, and resourcing needs from conception through to release
Engage and provide feedback as early as the brief / design stages via static testing, highlighting additional tooling / cheat needs, pre-production quality concerns, or similar things alike
Drive the creation, maintenance and coverage of relevant suites and associated test cases tailored to your pods needs
Follow governance instilled across the team, and remain inline with the projects QA Lifecycle from conception through to post release care
Liaise and coordinate with a team of offshore testers, defining and communicating expectations, while supervising progress and results
Lead by example through hands-on testing, and taking ownership for the quality output of your pod’s work
Colloborate with the development teams to understand scope of change and the impact to other areas of the product that may require quality control considerations
Help facilitate playtests associated with your respective pod, enabling wider and collective feedback, and ensuring accurate tracking and follow through of recorded items
Review and (where vital) align and train external test teams to conform to expected bug reporting standards, while maintaining a tidy and prioritised database of bugs in coordination with your respective pods work
Support with the onboarding of external embedded pod test resource(s) within your pod
Build and solidify a working relationship with your respective external embedded QA support, always remaining in sync on priorities and needs, also ensuring sufficient coverage through them in your absence
Keep your pod and the leadership team advised on milestone progression, priorities and blockers throughout the development lifecycle
Attend associated pod and QA team ceremonies, using these as a platform for feedback, while remaining current and informed on team strategy and movements
Work closely with Customer Support & the Live & Release team to investigate, document and (where vital) push for swift resolution of live issues, owning and understanding where potential gaps existed, and plugging these for future circumstances
Be aware of and supervise app health from a comprehensive viewpoint, such as ANRs & Crash Rates, particularly following a release in which your pod has contributed in
Aligning with QA Leadership and the QA Director, standardise processes with other pods, providing feedback and suggestions to better these where applicable
Engage in annual reviews to aid with yours and others development alike, providing feedback when called upon, including to that of your lead / manager
Support QA Leadership in attaining the teams goals through ownership and tracking of KPOs / OKRs
Assist in the promotion of a ‘shift left’ attitude, helping discover and resolve issues as early as possible within the production pipeline
Lead by example with regards to the Scopely tenets
What We’re Looking For

Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated
Flexible to an agile setup with the ability to multitask, running coverage for multiple high profile releases with strict deadlines
A strong commercial awareness with an understanding of business priorities and goals
Exceptional reporting capabilities
Extensive knowledge of JIRA and / or similar bug tracking systems
Mobile exposure and an understanding of Apple / Google submission protocol
A sound understanding of the gaming industry and the typical end to end development lifecycle
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $79,900 - $117,700, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
