Job Description

As a Senior Services Sales Specialist for Azure, you will accelerate career growth by deepening solution area expertise, developing leads, qualifying strategic opportunities, and owning the process to successful deal closure. Leverage cutting-edge solutions to enhance customer cloud consumption. Responsibilities include demonstrating understanding of customer needs, providing insightful POVs on how Industry Solutions can accelerate consumption, collaborating with the account team, continuously enhancing sales expertise and industry knowledge, ensuring deal excellence, and adhering to Microsoft processes and methodologies. The role involves managing opportunities and qualifying them through to Opportunity Review Board submissions and close plan ownership. This is a partially remote role.

As a Senior Services Sales Specialist for Data & AI, this opportunity will allow you to develop deep business acumen, hone your selling skills, and become adept at deal structuring. There is a flexible work opportunity and the you can work from home partially.

 

As an experienced consulting specialist seller this role will give you the opportunity to accelerate your career growth, growing your solution area expertise, developing leads, qualification of strategic opportunities and ownership through to successful deal closure, leveraging cutting edge solutions for customers that grow cloud consumption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field AND extensive years of experience in technology-related sales or account management experience

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience with technology-related sales or account management experience
  • Related solution or services sales experience
  • Experience with selling cloud technology services or solutions

Responsibilities

As a Services Sales Specialist for Azure, you will have the opportunity to accelerate your career growth by deepening your solution area expertise, developing leads, qualifying strategic opportunities, and owning the process through to successful deal closure. You will leverage cutting-edge solutions to enhance customer cloud consumption.

 


Your responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of customer and partner needs, and showcasing how our solutions can drive meaningful business outcomes
  • Providing insightful and impactful points of view (POV) on how Industry Solutions (IS) can accelerate consumption, aligning these insights with account planning cycles
  • Collaborating seamlessly with the wider account team to build and strengthen relationships across Microsoft teams, driving cloud consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs
  • Continuously enhancing your sales expertise and industry knowledge to better support customers and the broader Microsoft team, while also investing in your personal development
  • Ensuring deal excellence by adhering to Microsoft processes and methodologies, maintaining pipeline hygiene, logging and managing all opportunities (revenue and consumption) for Industry Solutions, and continuously qualifying opportunities through to the Opportunity Review Board (ORB) submissions and close plan ownership
