Project description

The main mission of Engineering technician is dealing with different aspects of testing related to the ultrasonic systems. Responsible for executing test scenarios, collect data, calibrate the system to customer specifications, perform necessary retrofits, create and troubleshoot test set-ups. Additionally he/she will be responsible for maintaining functional lab area in accordance to Tier1'sguidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

Accountable for the deliverables:

Assist in scheduling and organizing testing.

Assist in tuning and calibrating P4U System.

Collect, record, compile and analyze test data.

Use of Vector CAN Tools to complete tests.

Travel and work directly with OEM.

Run tests, solve any issues that may occur during testing.

Provide training as needed.

Build/Repair wire harnesses as needed.

Build/Repair test loads as needed.

Build test/engineering set-ups (benches).

Perform mechanical and electrical testing on automotive products as directed and following established specifications.

Communicate between Tier1 and OEM engineers.

General duties:

Communicate with different teams involved in testing and reporting.

Maintain the planning of tasks and deliveries.

Select the most appropriate suppliers for the different tasks.

Must have

3-5 years of experience in automotive performing testing, data collection, wiring, test set ups

Experience in vehicle testing

Vector CAN tools

Experience in automotive system testing projects

Driver license

Technical Bachelor Degree

Have HW experience and be able to build/repair Harnes, test loads, soldering

Nice to have

Perform mechanical and electrical testing on automotive products as directed and following established specifications.

Communicate between Tier1 and OEM engineers.
