Senior Technical Architect - Cloud FullStack DevOps

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Architect with expertise in Java and Azure to lead the development and design of scalable and fault-tolerant systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in microservices architecture, cloud transformation, DevOps, and hands-on development in both backend and frontend technologies. The role involves working closely with business experts, IT governance, and various DevOps teams to deliver customer-centric solutions in a dynamic environment.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Architect with expertise in Java and Azure to lead the development and design of scalable and fault-tolerant systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in microservices architecture, cloud transformation, DevOps, and hands-on development in both backend and frontend technologies. The role involves working closely with business experts, IT governance, and various DevOps teams to deliver customer-centric solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•               Design and implement technical roadmaps for scalable, cloud-native, and cloud-agnostic applications based on microservices architecture.

•               Lead the development of high-quality software solutions using Spring Boot, Java 8+, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure ecosystems.

•               Develop observability stacks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry.

•               Guide teams in building containerized applications using Docker and orchestrating them through Kubernetes.

•               Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and other DevOps tools.

•               Manage end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) while ensuring agile methodologies are adhered to, including sprint planning, backlog management, and risk identification.

•               Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and oversee implementation across cross-functional teams.

•               Maintain system security and observability best practices throughout the application lifecycle.

•               Mentor and guide junior developers, providing leadership on technical design and architecture.

Must-Have Qualifications:

•               Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•               Minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role focusing on Java, Spring, microservices architecture, and cloud environments.

•               Expertise in Azure, including container management (Kubernetes, Docker) and DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Prometheus.

•               Hands-on experience with Angular 12 and Angular Material for frontend development.

•               Proficient in database technologies including Oracle 12c, MySQL, and MongoDB.

•               Experience in Kafka, JMS, and messaging systems like RabbitMQ.

•               Proficient in CI/CD pipeline management, SQL, JPA, and batch processing with JMS API.

•               Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with business and IT stakeholders.

•               Digital and cloud transformation leadership across multiple domains, with a proven track record of leading microservices architecture and cloud-native designs (Azure, GCP).

•               Strong background in DevOps practices, including the design and implementation of continuous delivery pipelines and automation using Jenkins.

•               Hands-on experience with container orchestration and observability stacks, ensuring security and self-healing capabilities.

•               Extensive experience in front-to-back technical architecture design using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud technologies.

Desired Skills:

•               Experience working in the transportation or logistics industry.

•               Knowledge of various EDI formats (e.g., JSON, XML, ANSI, EDIFACT).

•               Familiarity with Azure Event Hub and stream processing architectures.

•               Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, NeoLoad, and Postman.

•               End-to-end design and implementation of modern Java applications over Azure, including microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions.

Certifications:

•               Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

•               Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer.

• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
