  • Bachelor's degree in technical field

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager with a proven track record of leading teams and managing multiple complex programs simultaneously. As a hands-on technical leader, you will guide a highly talented software team in building reusable, scalable, and robust solutions on our spatial computing platform. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and the ability to lead by example, setting high standards for execution, quality, configuration control, and documentation practices.  This role demands a seasoned expert with a strong background in the public and military sectors, capable of handling advanced software development projects and technologies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who is not only proficient in program management but also deeply understands the technical nuances of the projects they oversee.  The Senior Technical Program Manager should be a highly skilled and flexible program manager to oversee multiple Department of Defense (DoD) programs. 

 

Technology Capabilities and Experience 

  • More than 15 years of experience in program management, with a substantial portion in the public and military sectors. 
  • Experience managing the complete software development process, from initial design through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintain high standards. 
  • Extensive experience with defense contracting and federal procurement regulations and compliance. 
  • Extensive experience leading highly technical development teams and managing advanced technologies. 
  • Experience working with classified environments. 
  • Expert in project management techniques, risk management, and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 
  • Proven track record of successful program closure and achieving customer satisfaction. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., computer science, engineering).  
  • Leads client and stakeholder engagement, and participates in development of requirements, specifications, and contracts. 
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled software developers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment. 

Nice to have:  

  • Advanced degree in the software technical field is preferred. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
