Minimum qualifications:

- 2 years of experience in Java/Kotlin and data structures and algorithms.
- 2 years of experience with Android application development.
- Experience building and shipping Android applications available on the Android system or Play Store.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience contributing to, or working with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
- Experience building user-facing applications and services with a focus on user experience and performance.
- Experience in using tracing and profiling tools to debug and optimize Android app performance.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
