Software Engineer II – Azure Agents

The Agents Engineering team inside Azure AI is responsible for providing services that enable complex task completion using natural language, reasoning, and long-term planning & execution. We are looking for a Software Engineer who is interested in building these highly scalable AI services, that leverage modern, bleeding-edge technologies. Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
• At least 3 years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining distributed systems
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Rust, Go, C#, Python
• Familiar with cloud computing technologies such as K8s and Docker
• System design, algorithmic skills, and knowledge of data structures
• Debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications Preferred

• Experience with transformer-based models (e.g., BERT, GPT, T5, Llama)
• Experience with AutoGen, LangChain, or other model-orchestration techniques towards task completion is a plus
• Experience with Cloud Native Software

• Work on complex, mission-critical solutions that involve multiple Azure Services (Kubernetes, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Service Bus, etc.)
