About the role

Software Engineer, System Integration at Appier plays a pivotal role in connecting our solutions with various platforms.  You will be responsible for designing the most flexible and scalable architecture and implementing the integration.

Responsibilities 

• Design and develop robust system integration solutions to connect Appier’s solutions with various platforms.
• Develop and operate data pipelines as the foundation of system integrations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop automation tools that streamline daily operations.
• Work on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, leveraging their capabilities to optimize integration operations.
• Deploy systems to production and monitor service health.
• Participate in on-call shifts as needed to ensure integration reliability and scalability.

About you 

[Minimum qualifications]

• 3+ years of experience in building and operating backend systems.
• Proven skills of interpersonal communication and problem-solving.
• Experience in any modern programming language (such as Python, Golang, JavaScript).
• Experience in modern software development tools (such as Git, JIRA).
• Familiarity with prototyping and MVP development.
• Ability to pick up new technologies and services quickly.
• Ability to communicate in English.

• Expertise in Python and its ecosystem.
• Expertise in data pipelines, data quality and the related tools.
• Experience in multiple industries or software development domains.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud services (such as AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps principles.
