Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Google's Vertical Factory, you'll build scalable, full-stack components for new verticals. Responsibilities include developing infrastructure to ingest partner data at scale using Google platforms, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, fostering a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making, and ensuring quick turnaround times. You'll contribute to Google Search's evolution, impacting billions globally. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2 years of software development (C++, Java, Javascript), 2 years of data structures/algorithms experience, and 2 years of experience with performance analysis, visualization, or debugging. Experience with full-stack development is crucial for ingesting, processing, and serving partner data.

Must have:

2+ years data structures/algorithms experience
2+ years performance analysis/debugging
Full-stack engineering experience

Good to have:

Master's/PhD in Computer Science
Experience with code/system health diagnosis
Software test engineering experience
Accessible technology development

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Javascript) or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
2 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
Experience with full stack engineering in building front and back-end features to ingest, process, and serve partner data.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
Experience with code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
