Job Description

As a Gameplay Engineer at Tempo, you will work closely with a tight-knit team to create game systems, tools, and services that bring the vision of the games to life. The role involves working on all aspects of game development. You will be responsible for authoring gameplay features and systems, assisting with building and maintaining tools, directly supporting other departments, mentoring junior team members, and assisting with project planning and bug triage.
Must have:
  • Extensive C#, Unity experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of modern .Net patterns.
  • 6+ years professional experience in game development.
  • Shipped mobile or AAA game title.
  • Mobile game experience.
  • .Net and web tools knowledge.
  • Clear communication and planning skills.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals.

As a Gameplay Engineer you will work closely with a tight knit team authoring the game systems, tools, and services which empower our team to realize the vision of our games. We value independent, creative team members which enthusiastically attack new and interesting challenges. You will have the opportunity to work on all fronts of game development Qualifications:
  • Extensive C#, Unity experience

Responsibilities: ● Author gameplay features and systems ● Assist with building and maintaining tools for authoring game content ● Directly support other departments and mentor junior team members ● Assist with project planning and bug triage
We also offer a package of benefits including discretionary paid time off, paid time off for federal holidays, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, and disability insurance. The base salary for this role is USD $120,000 - $160,000. As Tempo is a remote studio, applicants from outside of the US will be considered. Please note, the compensation listed is for the US only.
