We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our team as the lead for Content Governance & Controls and drive the content governance transformation program, with the opportunity to shape the direction of our content lifecycle management strategy and make an impact across organizations.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our team as the lead for Content Governance & Controls and drive the content governance transformation program, with the opportunity to shape the direction of our content lifecycle management strategy and make an impact across organizations.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and establishing PayPal’s customer-facing content governance framework, covering customer communications, marketing activities, websites, product experiences and more.

You will partner closely with internal stakeholders across organizations to unify content management processes through centralized governance, policy and technological solutions,  and enable significant impacts in terms of efficiency, quality and compliance with regulatory obligations.

Your day-to-day

• Partner closely with product, marketing, technology and compliance to develop and implement centralized processes to govern customer-facing content end-to-end.

• Support change management and adoption of the content governance processes across organizations.

• Collaborate with content generating functions to capture the requirements for workflow management solutions and work with the Technology teams to support the integration within PayPal’s ecosystem.

• Establish and maintain a set of Enterprise Content Lifecycle Management policies covering content creation, governance, management, and maintenance.

• Design and maintain streamlined content review and approval processes.

• Develop and oversee a framework of internal controls that provide continuous assurance on quality and regulatory compliance through the content lifecycle.

• Proactively monitor emerging risks and issues; assist in developing mitigation strategies and support their implementation.

• Stay informed about industry best practices, the evolution of the regulatory landscape, and new technologies related to content lifecycle management and governance. 

• Maintain performance and compliance reporting, track associated metrics, and gather audit documentation in preparation for any investigations.

What do you need to bring

• Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting business transformation initiatives and/or content and/or risk governance activities.

• Project management skills and a desire to drive sustainable change.

• Experience with Audit, Risk & Compliance and/or customer communications operations is preferred.

• Ability to proactively identify risks and work escalation paths to ensure proper risk recognition and mitigation.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, initiative and integrity.

• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a deadline-oriented environment.

• Experience engaging with global, multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced, change intensive environments

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$99300 to $216040
