As a Senior Manager of DEI Insights, you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful DEI insights by bringing the full suite of People Insights capabilities to solution against employee and business challenges. You have a curiosity that leads you to always ask, “What’s possible?” and the ability to bring concepts to reality from analysis to actionable insights.

What You Will Do

The incumbent in this role will deeply immerse themselves alongside the people insights team and the business to understand unique needs and challenges, while focusing on custom business needs. They act as consultants, account managers, and liaisons, collaborating with our experts to deliver data-driven solutions. In this role, you will improve our employees’ experiences and help drive critical business priorities by collaborating and connecting data points across workforce data and trends, people research, barrier and other complex analyses, data visualization, and compelling storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage a deep understanding of gap and barrier analyses, partnering closely with people insights, HR teams and analytics partners, to develop strategies in support of DEI initiatives
  • Synthesize insights into simple, relatable, and actionable recommendations that help drive strategies through compelling storytelling to HR and business leaders
  • Act as a subject matter expert, understanding industry best practices and external benchmarks in order to drive the company’s ability to make data driven decisions
  • Develop dashboards to provide access to consistent, relevant, actionable data
  • Ensure processes are efficient, effective and at a high-quality level to build trust and improve insights to guide the right business discussions and decisions
  • Work collaboratively with segment partners and other HR collaborators to identify business needs and priorities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships, based on trust, with HR leaders and key business leaders
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of data, reports, insights, and solutions
  • Empower partners to self-serve data and interpret and apply insights through tools and training
  • Proactively connect dots across different data points, research inputs, and business initiatives
  • Lead concurrent projects while monitoring and communicating progress with minimal oversight
  • Lead and develop an effective team while fostering a team culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Act with integrity and behaviors that promote the values and mission of The Walt Disney Company

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of proven experience in working with DEI HR data and analytics, including predictive analytics, gap analysis and barrier analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and storytelling that influences data-driven decisions
  • Experience leading highly successful teams with a focus on inclusion and continuous development
  • Proven understanding of HR processes and initiatives (e.g., Talent Acquisition, DEI, Learning, etc.)
  • Strong consultative skills, emotional intelligence, and executive presence
  • Ability to collaborate, build consensus, and influence without direct control across a highly matrixed organization
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to effectively handle confidential information
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Proven experience in people research methodologies, preferably in a DEI setting
  • Proficient in Business Intelligence and HR analytics platforms such as Tableau, Visier, or similar platforms

The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $150,500 to $183,900 per year and in New York is $157,600 to $192,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
