The Infrastructure Process and Procedure Documentation Governance Senior Lead
is a key position within the Global Infrastructure Risk and Control team, driving the governance of the documentation (processes, procedures, runbooks) utilized by the Technology Infrastructure function. The ideal candidate will be risk and control minded and have a strong background in creating, maintaining, and reviewing formal governance documentation for a Technology organization. They will also need to have effective communication skills and be able to help teams translate various technical documents into formal governance documentation. The position will report to regional and global management.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed assessments of Technology related formal governance documentation to ensure it is accurate, complete, and approved timely.
Drive the formal governance documentation efforts to ensure a consistent and mature state across all of Technology Infrastructure (TI).
Establish a process to communicate deficiencies and successes of reviewed documentation.
Help various teams across TI to assess the current state of their formal documentation and guide them to a mature sustainable state.
Provide reporting to management on the current state and improving state of the TI formal documentation.
Help to facilitate/liaison between internal stakeholders and internal/external inquiries (e.g., Audit) with regards to formal governance documentation.
Responsible for ensuring the central repository for documentation is maintained
Help management in identifying and managing risk related to the TI documentation governance space.
Qualifications
At least 12+ years of experience in a technology organization within the financial services space.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in creating, maintaining, and reviewing formal governance documentation for a Technology organization.
Basic understanding of financial services technology landscape as it relates to operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux, etc.), server management, information security, networking, application development, storage and backup, virtualization and/or cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
Experience in utilizing the confluence tool and/or Sharepoint to store and maintain formal governance documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to aggregating various technical working documents into a formal governance document.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
A Risk and Control mindset with the ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
