We're looking for an Staff Software Development Engineer to be part of their Cyber Risk and Governance Team. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Develop large scale distributed data platforms/micro-services as part of critical internal Cyber Risk and Governance
- Develop and implement best engineering practices to optimize team productivity and delivery timelines by operating in an Agile Environment
- Work cross-functionally with product management and distributed systems engineering teams to complete large scale projects with impact across the company
Job Location - Bangalore
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 8+ years of experience in the data services along with Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Computer Science with a strong focus on designing and building data acquisition and data processing pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Python (preferred), Java, Scala, or Golang, along with experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services.
- Experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices architecture, with a understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with big data or stream processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop/Apache Flink, Kafka, Kinesis, KSQL or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, including indexing, querying, performance tuning, and cluster management.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in SIEM/UEBA products or similar Cyber Security analytics platforms
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing and deployment.
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
