About the job:
As a Strategic Insights Lead at Google, you will play a key role in shaping the company's strategic direction by leading complex research and analysis to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and market opportunities. You will translate raw data into clear and concise narratives, focusing on the strategic implications for Google. You will present findings and recommendations to executives, product managers, and other stakeholders in an effective way. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate strategic insights into the decision-making and product development process. You will also monitor the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in consumer behavior to provide forward-looking and relevant insights.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 9 years of experience gathering technical and financial data
  • 8 years of experience using the business lifecycle to drive growth
  • 6 years of experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
  • Lead complex research and analysis
  • Translate raw data into clear and concise narratives

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience gathering technical and financial data to promote products, services, and solutions.
  • 8 years of experience using the business lifecycle to drive growth, and analyzing and applying industry, market, and organizational information to strategies/plans.
  • 6 years of experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently in order to interact in this client-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including research design, data collection, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Deep understanding of the Finance and technology landscape, including digital trends, online platforms, and business models.
  • Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and connect insights to strategic implications for the business.
  • Ability to communicate complex insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to different audiences, including senior executives.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
