Job Description

This role supports SimCorp's transformation efforts to drive business outcomes. The Student Assistant will assist with strategy and transformation processes and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include supporting management reviews, maintaining dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, planning and performing cyclical activities, maintaining the Global Leadership forum membership list, supporting internal strategy communication, and creating PowerPoint documents. The role offers opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the company's growth.
Must have:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Work from Copenhagen office for the entire contract.
  • Keen interest in strategy and organizational change.
  • Advanced analytical skills and a structured mindset.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively with good time-management skills.
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude.
  • Highly proficient in business English communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience in strategy and transformation.
  • Experience in collaboration tools like Miro.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As a Global Leadеr in Investment management software and services, we are on a mission to transform from a traditional enterprise software company into a technology-enabled services business, while ensuring sustained double-digit growth that is highly profitable. To further support this journey, we are now recruiting a motivated and detail-oriented student assistant to join the Group Strategy and Transformation team. This role will support our transformation efforts to ensure our corporate strategy is executed to drive business outcomes. 

Reporting to the Head of Global Strategy & Transformation, this role is part of a small skilled team based in our Copenhagen office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Assist across strategy and transformation processes, and other strategic initiatives 
  • Support management reviews, including building and maintaining dashboards in Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint with a high degree of accuracy 
  • Plan and perform key cyclical (monthly/quarterly) activities with a high degree of ownership and attention to details 
  • Maintain and update the Global Leadership forum membership list and eligibility criteria on a regular basis using MS Excel and Word 
  • Support internal strategy communication activities including maintenance of internal SharePoint site 
  • Create crisp and compelling PowerPoint documents to support Transformation processes, strategy communication or leadership meetings 
  • Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across SimCorp

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Economics, Project Management, or a similar field
  • This role requires the student assistant to work from our Copenhagen office for the entire duration of the contract, in line with employment regulations and operational needs. Applicants must mention any upcoming exchange or study-abroad plans in their application
  • Keen interest in strategy, transformation, and organizational change, with a pаssionate dеsire to contribute, learn, and prioritize tasks effectively. Previous experience or exposure to strategy and transformation related consulting projects or assignments would be beneficial 
  • Advanced analytical skills, a structured mindset, with attention to details 
  • Skilled in prioritization of tasks by effective time-management skills, leading to high-quality outcomes in an evolving and engaging environment 
  • Proаctіvе with a cаn-dо аttitude, bringing pоsitive enеrgy to the team while supporting teamwork and a vibrаnt social dynamic 
  • Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills in business English 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience in collaboration tools like Miro would be beneficial
