About the job

SummaryBy Outscal

REGENT seeks a Supply Chain Intern to analyze data, optimize procurement, and manage inventory for the company's electric flying machine. Ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers.  With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.

We are actively hiring passionate interns who can help us get our vehicle to market as quickly and safely as possible. We are backed by the world’s best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Palantir, Boom Supersonic, and more. We have over $9B in provisional orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hitting the ground running.

REGENT is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support the optimization and efficiency of the company’s procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
    • Support the optimization of procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes through data-driven insights.
    • Help create dashboards and reports for key supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, inventory levels, service levels) to support decision-making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply chain projects and initiatives.
    • Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management and technology.
    • Assist in the development of process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, improving efficiency, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
    • Support ad-hoc projects as assigned by the supply chain team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Working at REGENT, you’ll be in a fast-paced environment with exciting new challenges daily. Your mentors are passionate about building zero-emission, high-speed seagliders that will revolutionize coastal transportation. Our team works collaboratively and across disciplines to safely marry the latest technologies from aviation, aerospace and nautical engineering.

Our Benefits include:
