Job Summary
Job Description
The Google Cloud Security Customer Success team seeks a Technical Security Advisor specializing in Cloud Security. This role requires fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Security (GCS) products (SIEM, SOAR, and Google Threat Intelligence), offering prescriptive guidance, ensuring optimal customer experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining SecOps and GTI products, and collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to enhance GCS offerings. The advisor will work with customer SoC teams, client executives, and partners to deliver successful SecOps advisory services, acting as a cloud security and SoC subject matter expert. Project management, stakeholder communication, and contributing to thought leadership are also key aspects of this role. Approximately 10% travel is required for client engagements.
Must have:
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience
- SIEM, SOAR, threat intel expertise
- SoC and executive stakeholder experience
- Secure SecOps solution architecture
- Project management & cross-functional teamwork
- Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish
Good to have:
- Security architecture/engineering experience
- Cloud security delivery in customer-facing role
- Understanding of cybersecurity landscape, SIEM/SOAR migrations, detection strategies, incident response, and SoC workflow automation
- Excellent communication, written, presentation and problem-solving skills

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity practitioner, cybersecurity consultant, or technical cybersecurity solution Customer Success Manager role working with SIEM, SOAR, and threat intel.
- Experience working with SoC teams and executive security stakeholders.
- Experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure SecOps solutions (SIEM and SOAR).
- Experience with managing internal or external customer-facing projects to completion while working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate in English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in security architecture or security engineering.
- Experience in Cloud Security delivery in a customer-facing role.
- Experience understanding cybersecurity landscape, SIEM and SOAR migrations, detection strategies, incident response, and automating SoC workflows.
- Excellent communication, written, presentation and problem-solving skills.

You will deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help SoC’s manage their needs more efficiently and sustainably.
Responsibilities
- Work with customer SoC teams, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful SecOps advisory services, serve as a cloud security and SoC subject matter expert and a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
- Work with Customer Success and PSO resources, Product, and Engineering teams to package approaches, best practices, and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
- Interact with Sales, Partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks and issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
- Travel approximately 10% of the time for client engagements.
