 RESPONSIBILITIES:  A review of this description has excluded the marginal functions of this job which are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instruction and to perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor. 

  1. Provides superior levels of guest service to both internal and external guests.
  2. Responsible for troubleshooting and proper preventative maintenance of all slot machines.
  3. Assists in machine moves, installations, and removals.
  4. Performs preventative maintenance on games; including, but not limited to; changing/replacing bulbs, cleaning card readers, printers and bill validators, and maintaining wiring and slot bases.
  5. Respond to repair and troubleshooting requests from slot operations and other departments.
  6. Keeps the supervisor informed of any problems and issues.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 Education and/or Experience:  High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:  Mississippi State Gaming License
