UI Angular Developer

Our challenge

We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Angular Front-End Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Angular best practices, experience with front-end development, and a desire to build high-quality, user-friendly web applications.

Additional Information* 

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end components and features using Angular.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of our front-end architecture and development processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest Angular trends and best practices.
• Implement responsive designs for various devices and screen sizes.
• Work with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Utilize and contribute to our component library and style guide.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work with Node.js and Hono to develop server-side functionalities when required.
• Implement and customize Angular packages such as AG Grid, Highcharts, and Golden Layout.
• Write technical documentation for developed components and features.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive design principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma, Jasmine).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with Node.js and Hono.
• Experience with Angular UI component libraries such as AG Grid, Highcharts, and Golden Layout.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, RxJS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
