Job Description

Quidich Innovation Labs seeks an experienced Unreal Engine Solutions Architect to lead and enhance their Unreal Engine-based products. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Unreal Engine, systems architecture, and team management expertise. Quidich Innovation Labs is a global company headquartered in Mumbai, India that pioneers in customized technology solutions for Sports Broadcast. From the outset, we have believed in the power of the story that sport tells as a tool to bring people together; and that this story best reaches fans, through the way it is broadcast. Building on this thinking, we have created various technology tools over the past five years and deployed them at tournaments such as the Indian Premier League, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, ICC Women’s World Cup, and Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, to name a few.

Role

We are seeking an experienced Unreal Engine Solutions Architect to oversee the evolution and enhancement of our Unreal Engine-based products (Quidich Tracker, HyperView, HyperStudio). The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Unreal Engine, be familiar with systems architecture, and demonstrate an ability to manage teams and product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Architecture Analysis and Improvement: Review and refine the architecture of our existing Unreal products to ensure efficiency, scalability, and stability.

Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Unreal development team, ensuring that project timelines and roadmaps are adhered to.

Scalability and Integration: Evaluate product scalability and ensure interoperability between our range of products.

Data Flow Management: Design, implement, and oversee data flow structures within our products to ensure seamless operations and user experiences.

Systems Logic: Implement and refine system-level logic within our Unreal products to maximize performance and usability.

Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads and teams to ensure that the products align with company goals and standards.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Unreal Engine and systems architecture to ensure the company's products are at the forefront of technology.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with Unreal Engine.

Demonstrated experience in systems architecture, with a focus on scalability and integration.

Certifications related to Unreal Engine or systems architecture.

Proven track record of managing teams and overseeing product roadmaps.

Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across departments to achieve company goals.
